Flesh

Pork. It’s one of the frst words coming in your mind, isn’t it?

Comparisons between human and animals usually highlight commonly known characteristics, mostly predictable and cultural.

Cunning like a fox, frightened rabbit. Pork as a pig. Dirty, perverted, depraved.

What about cooked steak? Or meat? Pigs are one of the first sources of edible meat. Meat (flesh) is also ours: our flesh, what we are made of. I wonder why what really links us to the animals is not what comes in mind when we think about common aspects.

Woman as representation of Human kind. Pig as a rappresentative of Animal kind. But men are animals. United in breath, in blood, in flesh.
